Where was home this month!
Wednesday July 20, 2005 by Paul Martin
One month has flown by! With re-visits to the Lake District, as I mentioned last month as well as to Hereford and Huddersfield for auctions filming. Hereford I will remember for a long time, as I started to loose my voice - and then finally did! Watch out for it on the shows in a few months time. It's the first time in 4 years that filming dates had to be cancelled and rescheduled, that was how bad it got!

Me and the crew at the Morgan factory.
I had such a great time as a guest artist on the "Moon Walk" for Breast Cancer in Hyde Park I've decided to do the full distance next year with my girlfriend and her mum! The whole event is so wonderfully organized, it's such fun and what a great cause.
The next four weeks
I cannot wait for the end of August into September as filming slows down and I get Bluebelle back for a month or two, so expect lots of photos and stories about her. I really miss her company at the moment. Jonny is still going well and is having the horse dentist round to give his teeth the once over in a couple of weeks.

Jonny being put through his paces.
Other news - well, I've been asked to go on "Through The Key Hole" in October and "Ready Steady Cook" in September, so I'd better get practicing! What meal can you cook for under a fiver? - Any ideas Please!

Me and a suit of armour.
Other news
I'm pleased the website is working well, I promise it will be progressive and yes, I will get a photo gallery set up and running as soon as I can - what a great idea.
Just to answer some of your questions - I was born on the 5th Jan 1959 . And the fishing, well I haven't done much lately! The last time was in April/ May when I was at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor . What a wonderful hotel! I love fly fishing for trout or salmon. The biggest I've caught was 5lbs - and I always put them back though! Promise!
Hello to Kim, Mel, Joanne and the rest of you all that have stopped for a chat while filming in Hereford and Huddersfield. Its lovely to get feed back from Flog It fans. Please do stop and have a chat if you see me filming... and please, please, please get voting for me for the National Television Awards. It would be absolutely fantastic to get short listed for the best daytime show. I think all voting is up to the 29th July, and tell your friends to click on too!
